Frequently Asked Questions

Twenty answers to the questions luxury couples and wedding planners ask most often. Pricing, process, your day, delivery.

Every wedding is unique, and so is every proposal. Rather than fixed packages, I create a personalized quote based on your celebration: the date, the venue, the coverage you need, and the deliverables that matter most to you. All proposals include my full presence, a private online gallery, a slideshow, and a portrait album. Get in touch for a personalized proposal after a short discovery call.
A signed contract and a deposit secure your date. The balance is due before the wedding day, with installments available when helpful. International payments are accepted, and Pixieset handles the secure transactions on my side.
The deposit is non-refundable, as it secures your date and turns away other inquiries. Postponements are handled case by case: if the new date is available and falls within twelve months of the original, the deposit transfers without penalty. The complete terms live in your signed contract.
For Parisian weddings, travel is included or minimal. For destinations outside the Paris region, my proposals include transportation, accommodation, and meals as a single grouped line, never itemized. No surprise charges later.
Yes. Engagement and couple sessions are available as standalone bookings or included in the higher-tier collections. Sessions can take place in Paris, anywhere in Europe, or at a destination of your choice.
For luxury destination weddings, booking nine to twelve months in advance is recommended. Peak-season Saturdays from May through October regularly book up to eighteen months ahead.
I work in French (native) and English (professional level). Most of my international couples are American, British, or Lebanese, and the entire process from first call to gallery delivery happens in English when needed.
Absolutely. I regularly collaborate with top wedding planners across France, Italy, and the US, and have preferred videographer partners (3 Petits Points, Laurent Rostaing Films) when you need a recommendation. Coordination with your full vendor team is built into my process.
Yes. From the initial 30-minute virtual consultation to digital contract signing, secure online payment, and final photo delivery through your private gallery. Everything is handled seamlessly online, no matter where you are in the world.
Yes. I carry full professional liability insurance, and certificates can be provided to your venue on request. Most châteaux and palaces in France require this, and my paperwork is always ready.
I shoot on the Fujifilm GFX medium format system paired with Fujifilm X-series cameras. On the wedding day, I always carry two camera bodies, dual card slots, multiple lenses, and backup batteries. Equipment failure is planned for, never improvised around.
Rain becomes part of the story. I plan covered alternatives at every venue I shoot, and some of my favorite frames have come from gray weather and quiet umbrellas. We discuss the rain plan during the venue scout or pre-wedding call so you never feel caught off guard.
I work within a small network of luxury wedding photographers I trust personally. In the rare case of illness or emergency, I would arrange a replacement of equivalent style and experience, and I would oversee the editing of your gallery myself to keep the look consistent.
Understated black or charcoal, always. I dress to disappear into the room, not to be noticed. For black-tie events I wear a black suit; for daytime weddings, dark trousers and a dark shirt.
For getting-ready coverage, I recommend matching robes or button-down shirts (anything you can step out of without disturbing your hair and makeup). I arrive about ninety minutes before you put the dress on. We capture the dress, shoes, jewelry, perfume, and the moments before, in soft natural light, ideally in a room with good window light.
Typically fifty to eighty carefully edited images per hour of coverage. For a full wedding day (ten or more hours), this means 500 to 800+ images delivered in your private online gallery within 6 to 8 weeks. The Grand Collection includes expedited delivery, with your gallery ready within one week.
Yes. You receive all final edited images at full resolution, with personal printing and sharing rights for life. You can print, share, and post freely. I retain the copyright (standard practice for professional photographers worldwide), which means I can also use selected images for my portfolio and editorial submissions, with your prior agreement.
Yes. A portrait album is included in every collection. Larger heirloom albums, fine art prints, framed pieces, and parent albums are available as add-ons after delivery. I work with Italian and German bookbinders and a small number of fine art print labs trusted by editorial photographers.
Only with your prior consent. Publication is discussed before the wedding and noted in the contract. Some couples want to be featured (especially those marrying at iconic venues), others prefer absolute privacy. Both are respected without question. If we submit to a publication, you see the gallery and the planner credits before anything goes out.
Your private Pixieset gallery remains live for one full year, with the option to extend. I always recommend downloading the full-resolution archive to two separate hard drives as soon as you receive the gallery. Cloud storage is convenient, but two physical drives are insurance.
