My Approach
I capture authentic moments as they unfold while composing each frame with the sophistication of a magazine editorial. The result is a body of work that reads like a story you can hold in your hands. Quiet, deliberate, and impossible to confuse with anyone else's.
The documentary half means I trust your day to unfold on its own terms. Real reactions, real laughs, real tears. I rarely interrupt. The editorial half is the discipline that runs underneath every frame: light scouted hours in advance, composition built with intention, color and tone calibrated for print.
I arrive a day or two before the wedding to walk the venue with you, understand the light at every hour, and pre-visualize the day. By the time the morning of comes, I am no longer a stranger to the room.
I work on the Fujifilm GFX medium format system, paired with the X-series for documentary moments. Natural light is the priority. I never use AI to compose your photographs. The frames you receive are real moments, captured by a person who was actually present.
Real moments, real emotions. I never force a pose or stage a reaction. My role is to be present and ready when something irreplaceable is about to happen.
