Selected Work
In the breath of an instant, time halts its relentless march; a recollection is crystallized, a gaze is eternally etched.
I've been photographing weddings for over a decade, and the work you'll see below is the part I keep coming back to. Weddings where the people, the place, and the day all asked something specific of me as a photographer.
Most of these took place inside French châteaux: Gassies in Bordeaux, Tourreau in Provence, Villette outside Paris, Vaux-le-Vicomte, La Durantie in the Dordogne. A few crossed borders. Castiglione del Bosco in Tuscany, Château de l'Aile in Vevey, a wedding in Abidjan that I still think about often. Different countries, different rituals, different light. The approach stays the same.
I shoot on a Fujifilm GFX medium format system. Larger sensor, slower workflow, fewer frames. It forces me to wait for the moment instead of spraying through it, and the files hold up the way I want them to ten years from now. My editing leans documentary fine art: real skin, real shadows, no plastic warmth.
What I'm looking for, regardless of venue, is the thing that won't repeat. A father pausing at the doorway before he walks his daughter out. A bride catching her own reflection in a window between speeches. The way a couple moves on the dance floor when they think nobody is watching. Those frames don't come from a shot list. They come from being present and trusted enough to disappear.
I work most often with planners I respect, MC2 Mon Amour, Yara Estephan, a small circle of agencies in Paris and beyond, and with videographers like 3 Petits Points and Laurent Rostaing Films. The work has been published in Vogue, Brides, Wedding Sparrow and Carats & Cake. The publications matter less to me than the couples who recognized something in the frames and asked me to do it again for someone they love.
Browse the galleries below by destination or by chapter. Each one is a complete story, in the order it happened. If something here makes you pause, that's usually a good sign we should talk.
Every love story is unique. I would be honored to tell yours.
